We live in E-town and I was having difficulty finding someone locally to work on my gas fireplace. I spoke with Dale at Hillside Hearth Shop and he was more than willing to service this community. I was surprised when I was able to get an appointment the next morning. I was given a two-hour window for the appointment time. I got a call from Dale giving me his travel departure time with notice that he and the crew would be arriving in about 45 minutes. They were right on time. We have two gas log fireplaces in our house; they are both about 25 years old. Just one of them was not working. Dale analyzed the gas burner unit and quickly assessed what needed to be done to get it working again. Once he fixed the gas log set, the team serviced the entire unit and cleaned it…making it like new. In addition, once the team finished working on the one fireplace and got it working, serviced, and cleaned, etc., Dale offered to perform an annual service on the other fireplace while he was here -- at no additional cost. Dale guarantees his work. The team was competent, professional, and hard working, and the price was reasonable, too. I highly recommend Hillside Hearth Shop and I will definitely use them again.
